Strange Fruit / Beyrouth, Liban

This theater reconverted into a night club is located under one of the most beautiful modern buildings of Beirut.
As we start to work at the beginning of the project, we propose to insert holographic moving panels behind the bar in order to open an abstract window to a shimmering and ever-changing sweep of soft white sand, surf and palm trees. Hidden in this radiant paradise are the images of butterfly-like UFO‚s, which can only be seen from certain angles, appearing and disappearing as you move about the club: a play on special dizzy sensations. The motif from the holographic pictures is repeated in brightly coloured Plexilights (OVNI) hanging from the ceiling of the lounge area.
